When you are using heavy weights combined with less reps, you are putting your muscles together with the nervous system under more stress. In comparison, when you are using lighter weights and more reps, there is less effect. Try to keep the rest time in between sets around 2 to 3 minutes.

Tip 2 : Increasing more calories. Thus in order to gain mass, you should strive to eat around 18-20 times you body weight in calories. This is essential such that the body have the extra calories to build new muscles. Besides, additional calories are required to repair damaged muscle tissue when working out. This, however, does not mean that you can just go ahead in indulge in any food that you want! You must not consume empty calories like sweets. Instead, you ought to eat nutritional food that has beneficial nutrients that are essential for gaining muscle.

Tip 3 : You need to include more protein in your diet. It is ideal when you can combine high protein diet with intense physical training to help build muscle. Tip 6 : Boost your vitamins and minerals. You can take a multi-vitamin to ensure that you are not deficient in any of the vitamins and minerals when you are trying to gain muscle. So it is recommended that you a good multi vitamin tablet.

Tip 7 : Stop doing anymore aerobic exercises. Aerobic exercises like running, if continued and not stopped, should be limited to only once every week or maybe once every fortnight instead.

Tip 8 : Your body need sufficient rest. Resting the body is just as important as your dieting and training. It is essential that you try to get about six or eight hours of sleep a day. You may not know this : Resting is what causes the muscles to grow. Thus taking days, even weeks off from your regular training is really beneficial to you.

The bottom line is that you still have to be patient and consistent. Even if you have the best diet, the best training schedule or even joined the best gym, your effort to gain muscles mass all be worthless without consistency!
